Learning @ schools conference

Hi everyone I am having a good time at my conference. I have learnt some new exciting things that we can use in our class. Here is a photo of Mrs Nieuwboer and Mrs Dunkley using their laptops to learn. And here are a couple of handsome chaps learning how to use a computer.

Collecting traffic data

We used tally marks to see how many different vehicles went past in 10 minutes.
Who might use this information - Government, Police, family and friends, our school, city council.
We will put this data into a pictogram so the data is easy to read.

Today we used Tagxedo to make our brainstorm of what learning feels like.

Today Room 9 were learning about groups within our school. We made lists of all the groups that we could thnk of in our school.

Leg It PE

Today for PE we ran relay races. It was energetic, fun, fun exercise, fast, exciting, athletic, flash, tiring, sprinting, running, fantastic, super, awesome, cool, sharing with a friend, amazing, brilliant, passing, great, happy, ARE YOU READY GET SET GO!!!!, exhausting.

Dean's dancing day.

Today all the children at St Mary's took part in dance lessons with Dean. Although it was very hot everyone had a gerat time.
